Just stop with the pointless criticism!

Internet is  like a watermelon, it is an alteration between having the joy of devouring that sweet fruit and spitting the god damn seeds after every mini micro bite.Just last week ,The moment the Indian batting line up was walking back  more than hitting boundaries was the exact moment i realized with disdain how my Fb screen is going to filled with Anushka's face. But a new day and a new
victim ,it is Deepika staring at me now.

First of all, please some one explain me what is this madness about this video anyways, it is not THAT amazing, it is just fine.

But now that my study break is forcefully spoiled ,let me share a piece of my mind too.

Let's see, almost all the articles that you must've read, liked or shared are dealing with these issues-
1. The obsession with the word choice, manifesting horrible examples of sarcasm from multiple writers on the web.
2. The hullabaloo over the lines,'my choice to have sex...' (you all know the lines)
3. Men's struggles in the world.

I would request all the self appointed KRK's to just not make every issue about them. Not the fan of the video, but from where i could see, the video was not about rights or wrongs , nor about moral implications, but an attempt to make women feel they have a choice. A choice which gets affected when she has to decide what dress to wear to college considering what mode of transport she is using that day,
when she decides whether she can afford to go to this place without thinking about what time she must reach home,
when her smoking a cigarette might invite a tag of 'whore',
when the responsibility of the kitchen is laid on her,
when she is expected to be  a virgin when she marries,
when she is asked to contemplate whether she wants to leave a job or not ,
when her lipstick becomes the scale for her brain ,and
when her choice of stream of education is restricted.
.So stop grilling the word , try to understand the thought and learn when to use quotes.

Of course adultery is immoral. But have we ever thought why there is no word equivalent to slut or whore or hoe for a man?

Sticking to one mistake or one left explanation or one phrase and using it to dilute the essence , the beauty of  the proposal of the entire video ,to make women independent , to give them an agency ,is really sad.

Please understand , our country is not only the cream of urban populace, or the small pool online. It is much more and many women are still reared to consider themselves secondary. It might just be for them to understand, that it is her choice to make her decisions.Be it right or wrong. The consequence must lie with the decision maker, which still in the case of several women is not true!

And for all the people who have been giving counter arguments from men's perspective ,i just want to say, how long is it going to take for you to understand feminism is, why is it still existent.

While trying to establish equality, there is  a need to help women reach the same platform. And no they are still being denied that.Stop considering your independent self to be the only target for the video, and start thinking about other possible viewers, who are still caged in patriarchy. All the meninists stop whining and hogging the light that is rightfully being shed on women issues! If you really support women empowerment, please keep aside your egos.

If only all these so called feminists share her load.If only they raise their voice in the public ,supporting that woman who is trying to shame her molesters. If only they stopped dancing to countless item numbers and honey singh songs!

And since you have made it till the end of this blog. Here is a treat. We have all been a little to used to women being objectified in wierd music videos. Here is one where the roles are kinda reversed.

*i don't own any of the images or the video*
