Let me visit Ladakh before....

Whiling away the sweet days of vacations, I happened to set my TV on a music channel and up came a song from FUGLY shot in ladakh. LADAKH.

Almost instantly, the four people riding, with the mountains as their backdrop instigated a deep pain inside me. Nope, not exaggerating at all. I did let out a sigh and my lips did curl into a good enough pout complimenting the sulking realisation as this took place in my mind.

This awesome ,serene ,exotic location turning into this.

Obviously my picture selecting skills aren't appropriate.But you know what i mean.

Nope this is not an additional bash for the thanda performance of FUGLY, this has been growing ever since 3 idiots. The beautiful cinematography of the last sequence in the movie was outstanding. But it was gracing so many screens, watched by not only crores of people here but abroad too, it was entering so many people’s ‘places-to-visit-before-i-die’ lists.

You know when you love something so much that you think sharing is going betray it. Well i feel the same way about such places. Similar to, any deep fried, all purpose flour dish.

I’d still forgive the team but when Anushka took that dive into the lake three years later in Jab Tak Hai Jaan,even SRK couldn't forgive her.

I know film shootings boost tourism, economy and in turn help the people. But when these locales are exposed to  litter throwing shameless Indian tourists along with billboard loving non-creative hotel owners, i become sad.

My cousin once told me the Pangong Tso Lake is now sometimes loosely referred to as the 3-idiots’s point. This is reason enough to be alarmed. If this wasn't all, the Chinese troops are showing up now and again with their aggressive power walk.

Thank god for the high altitude and difficult location, Ladakh hasn't yet become like any temple in north India. I wish i visit the place before it becomes a tourist place.
